Seeds are fantastic. I had great germination rates with everything I ordered last year. Variety is amazing. Shipping is nuts though. I ship products thru my business daily and am very familiar with USPS rates. My shipping charge for my last order was $17.50. It was shipped USPS Ground Advantage and weighed 6 oz... that costs less than $5 based on my zone. I understand adding a small fee to cover boxes and packing materials but $12.50 over the actual cost is a bit much.

My husband got these for me for my birthday due to the amount of allergies I have. We live in the mountains of Colorado so traveling to a store where I can get organic vegetables and fruits that I can tolerate can be challenging. So, my husband thought I would just grown them! These are amazing quality, the directions on the envelopes were easy to understand, and so far my different peppers and tomatoes are looking good! I have never ever grown anything in my life- attempted but always fail- and these I have been successful with! Can't wait to try my first pepper and tomatoe! Next year, we will buy even a larger variety of seeds from this company!

The beautiful flowers grown from the Potomac Appleblossom snapdragon seed I bought from Johnny’s Selected Seeds look just like the photo on the website. 😊 …

Took a slight, calculated risk on a new seed supplier. In the next 2 years we plan to scale up from our personal kitchen garden to a small market garden. We will be doing a test run in various crop varieties we like this coming season. We decided it was time to scale up from our local, but more hobby focused and (and priced as such) to a supplier that can handle larger bulk orders. We placed the bulk of our seed order with Johnny's and we were impressed with the quantity, the prices, and the shipping speed. Will update if we have any issues with the seeds once the growing season starts, but I don't expect that.

I've been a devoted fan of Johnny's since going to college nearby at Unity in 2005. I am just a home gardener, in an effort to be frugal I didn't order any new seed this year and instead used the collection of leftovers I had. I wanted to write a stellar review because despite some of these seeds being from 2018, they have all geminated. Tomatoes, peas, bush beans, zuchini, you name it, they're now growing in suboptimal clay soil in my Ohio garden. I'm beyond thrilled and continue to sing the praises of Johnny's to anyone who will listen. Thanks for such great produce and flowers!

I needed it a receipt for my accounting department, because charge was different (less) than my order, I tried several times trying to contact them by email, by their contact page. They never got back to me, finally I called the number on the website... It had me waiting and sending me to voicemail, I did not leave a voicemail. Thinking I was wasting my time, I just gave up. But 20min after I called, Daniela Solis from Johnnys Seed called me, about my voicemail, she took the time to call me back, even I did not say what I needed. She was super helpful, tracked down my order in seconds, she got my receipt, she explained what happened with my receipt and my order, I got a discount and a free shipping, she sent me what I needed in few minutes, she was a super star, friendly, kind, sharp, efficient. Im really impressed for the precision, speed and kidness of how she works. Daniela Solis also speaks perfect Spanish. LOVED her and her customers service!

I've used them for 5 years now. I know a lot of home gardeners are disappointed by their policy to serve small farms first during the pandemic, but on the other hand ... Gardening is a hobby for me, it's not an income stream that I need to pay my bills or pay employees. I understand their decision. That said, I ordered early this year and was fortunate that most of what I wanted was in stock. My order arrived 2 weeks after I placed it, which is a decent turnaround time all things considered. And it was 100% correct. One thing I appreciate about their seeds is that they are honest about the disease resistance and yields you should expect. They also seem to understand short season growing, and mark the greenhouse friendly plants clearly in the catalog. That's all useful information for me. So far they've been honest about their products and their choices during this pandemic ... I'd rather see that than be promised the world and receive far less.

Super friendly service and knowledgeable staff. High quality organic seeds and high tech gardening machines. Their shop is also a source for modern organic farming literature.
